Community Service Learning Track (CSLT) certificate courses are free and certified by international partner universities. The CSLT English as Foreign Language (EFL) Facilitator is tasked to deliver EFL courses based on established curricula. The CSLT EFL Facilitator will be part of the JRS team and will report to the JRS-JC:HEM Project Director.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Facilitator will be fully responsible for the course, including:
Admissions:
- Developing admission criteria;
- Assisting in publicizing the course and notifying potential participants;
- Implementing the admissions process with support from the JRS-JC:HEM team.

- Delivering the course to completion, amounting to 150 combined in-class and practicum hours for students;
- Regular planning, delivery and evaluation of coursework and assessments (quizzes, presentations, projects, etc.), including daily homework assignments and larger projects;
- Maintaining a record of student attendance and assignments;
- Following up and communicating with students as necessary regarding attendance and participation;

Please note that JRS is seeking teachers for three sections (usually 3x/week over 4 months, either during mornings, afternoons, or evenings) for various proficiency levels. This could be the same person (full time) or two different people (part time). The commitment is for at least six months, with strong preference for one year. Stipend is commensurate with JRS policy.
