ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Representing the subsidiary before local authorities and courts, as required, maintaining resources and overseeing collection litigation and fraud prosecution, in keeping with FINCA practices and policies, pursuing claims by the Subsidiary as determined and defending the Subsidiary against claims by third parties
• Managing the collections function at the subsidiary including managing and developing Collections Officers
OTHER DUTIES
• Preparing and reviewing corporate documentation, including notices of meetings, resolutions of corporate bodies and minutes of the meetings of the shareholders, the Board of Directors and other committees, as applicable; drafting powers of attorney, providing reports to management boards of Subsidiary and FINCA
• Reviewing loan contracts with clients and making appropriate changes approved by subsidiary management.
• Reviewing loan contracts with local and international lenders and preparing necessary documentation to comply with such loan contracts.
• Complying with microfinance regulation applicable to the activities and operations of the subsidiary.
• Identifying legal risks associated with the operations of the subsidiary and proposing mechanism for mitigating them.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Coordinating and supervising the work of other attorneys providing legal services to the Subsidiary, in-house, external and pro bono
Education & Experience
Authorized to practice law in Jordan
Experience in litigation and collections/finance/banking required
Experience in corporate law is a plus
Language Skills
Fluency in Arabic is required.
Fluency in English is preferred.

Provide timely and strategic support to Subsidiary Management team, FINCA’s Office of the General Counsel and any external, pro bono counsel

The CBOs Assessment Manager is responsible for the management of all relevant activities. Specifically he/she is to:
• Follow a detailed terms of reference which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the assessment
• Identify assessment risks and how to mitigate them
• Through the use of ACTED Grassroots Organizational Capacity Assessment (GOCA) tool collect and analyse data regarding CBOs capacities in terms of: organizational and financial management, leadership and participation, project cycle management and external relations
• Ensure that the assessment is conducted following high quality standards
• Ensure that the methodology through which the assessment is carried out is standardized for all the mapped CBOs
• Maintain good relations with partners and key stakeholders in the community
• Write an assessment report for ACTED and donors with support from the project development team
• Liaise with data entry, finance, logistics, administration and security teams in an appropriate manner
• Collaborate with project staff and manage CBOs volunteers
• Maintain open dialogue with all team members, and treat all staff in a respectful way
• The CBO Assessment officer is responsible for reporting incidents to security focal points and Coordination.

- Participate in the development of the overall marketing strategy

• Respect existing financial procedures and send all accounting documents to the Capital Office
• Ensure the proper allocation of each expense to the corresponding project
• Ensure that the finance Assistant(s) are filling the Manual Cash Book and properly carrying out their tasks
• Upload in the NGO accountancy program SAGA all the base accountancy on a weekly basis and check it on a monthly basis before sending it to the Capital Office on the 5th of each month
• Supervise the weekly and monthly cash reconciliations and the monthly bank reconciliation
• Supervise the relation with the bank(s)
• Sent a weekly cash request to the Capital Office and liaise with Program teams and Logistics to prepare a Base Monthly Cash Request to be sent to the Capital Office
• Update the Contract Follow-Up each time a new contract is signed and each time a payment relative to a contract is done. Send the Contract Follow-Up to the Capital Office on the 5th of each month
• Follow-up financial indicators of ACTED’s projects
• Help the Country Office to have a clear vision of the base’s financial situation
• Help the Area Coordination to have a clear vision of the area’s financial situation
Budget Control:
• Check and control the base accountancy
• Follow up on financial and accountancy procedures of ACTED Jordan

As an Account Manager you are responsible for hotel account management initially. You support Booking.com BV’s acquisition of new hotels in a specific area in Jordan. • Verify that the website has accurate information on hotels and pictures of newly registered hotels;
• Delivering training to new hotels on how to use Booking.com’s extranet and rates & availability system;
• Advise hotels regarding their webpages on the Booking.com website and how they can amend data with respect to supply, availability, specials, promotions;
• Providing hotels with information and advice by mail and email, including follow-ups;
• Looking after IT/administrative related tasks;
• In consultation with the Account Managers, provide information support to Booking.com for new hotels;
• Liaise with hotels to ensure information is up to date;
• Check statistics in the control room and follow up;
• You will also need to be versatile and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines from Booking.com BV.
