Psychologist –Patient Representative - Istishari Hospital

1. Meet and greet patients and families and orient them to hospital and clinics

2. Visit inpatients on a daily basis in order to assure that they are receiving adequate services and to address their needs and concerns

3. Follow up with various hospital staff to ensure that patient is receiving best services

4. Open a file for patient and directly acknowledge request

5. Collect demographic information and document communication in data base

6. Communicate directly with referring physicians or entities including but not limited to embassies, health organizations, and third party administrators to facilitate patients’ referral to Istishari Hospital

7. Transfer medical records to physician’s office for review and plan of care and update family or referring party no later than 72 hours

8. Provide physician’s plan of care to patients' financial counselor to prepare cost estimate

9. Schedule appointments and forward to patients, families or referring parties

10. Accompany patients to clinics, laboratory or imaging studies departments if needed

11. Assist with patients' admissions and discharges to and from hospital

12. Coordinate meeting between patients, social workers and or home health care help

13. Assist in travel arrangements and hotels or accommodation reservations

14. Arrange for Transport between Queen Alia International Airport and Istishari Hospital

15. Provide information about Jordan shopping and sightseeing areas

16. Any other duties necessary to provide seamless, efficient, timely services to patients, families and or providers

17. Patient representatives should be the watchdog of the Istishari brand, always acting for the brand's favor by being role models for the rest of the hospital's staff

18. Patient representatives are part of the marketing research team

Working as an important member of a diverse team who are committed to serve the world’s most vulnerable. The Finance Officer supports many of the financial activities of the programme.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis the Finance Officer carries out a variety of accounting functions required to ensure that the financial needs and accountability of the programme are met and that all financial transactions are carried out and recorded with integrity and in accordance with donor, HQ and field guidelines.

Managing in-country cashier responsibilities, ensuring necessary security measures are in place and are being followed.
Conducting regular cash and bank reconciliations and reporting.
Paying supplier invoices either directly or in conjunction with colleagues and in accordance with agreements made and procurement standards.
Paying staff salaries and allowances as agreed, ensuring that all required statutory deductions are made and subsequently paid to the appropriate authorities.
Produce accurate monthly accounts within the agreed timeframe, including the compilation and finalisation of monthly expense sheets for all cash and bank accounts.
Contribute to a financial strategy and management of the organization as need it (budgets, cash needs forecast, etc)

** Medair is growing as an organization in Jordan and depending on future projects responsibilities might further develop.

• Preparing timely reports/data as requested by auditors or official inspectors.
• Acting as the company representative during audits and official inspections.
• Execution of Daily transactions to be posted into the accounting system (invoices/ CN /DN /Exchanges/ Receipts/ Deposits register/JV/PV/Reconciliations etc…)
