The following is a brief description of the role.
Generic responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.
1. Implement Financial Systems and procedures according to Financial Handbook and other NRC policies at Country Office level.
2. Carrying out all kinds of cash box processes.
3. Implementing cash distributions in the camps.
4. Supporting project staff in financial matters.
5. Reconciling cash advances, teachers Payments & labor payments.
6. Reports to line manager respective of cash flows and payments in the camps.
Specific Responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of program intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly. The line manager drafts the specific responsibilities and sends them to his/her line manager for approval.
• Carry out regular cash counts in the camps.
• Ensure sufficient cash in the cash boxes.
• Prepare voucher and documentation related to camp cash box
• Support program staff during cash distributions
• Assist in the month-end accounting closing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger and all supporting documentation
• Filing all camp transactions in Amman office
• Supporting finance staff in Amman Office

Summary:

Assist in proper allocation of resources, as well as preparing, consolidating, supervising and analyzing the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, ensuring adherence of budgets with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Hikma’s financial and accounting policies and procedures.


Main Duties:

• Consolidate and analyze the annual budget of the Group, challenge budgets submitted by the Group business segments and entities, solve inter-company problems, compare budgets to historical trends, and review the reasonableness of the assumptions used.
• Supervise the quarterly re-forecast process.
• Participate and coordinate with other departments in the preparation of the Group five-year business plan.

Regular Duties and Responsibilities:-

The Food Assistance Project Manager is responsible for the management of all relevant activities throughout the project cycle. Specifically he/she is to:
• Together with the FSL Programme Manager, supervise all aspects of planning, implementation monitoring and report regarding the food assistance project, including internal and external reporting and project management formats updates: project monitoring format, budget follow up etc…
• Ensure the delivery expected outputs and outcomes as state in the project Field Level Agreement and narrative
• Effectively and efficiently coordinate team movement to ensure smooth implementation of all activities, timing reporting and solving project implementation challenging in communication and collaboration with FSL Program Manager
• Identify project risks and how to mitigate them
• Through the use of ToRs, activity reporting and site visits, monitor the timely completion and quality of activities
• In conjunction with the ACTED Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, monitor and evaluate the outcomes/outputs of the project
• Effectively coordinate with WFP and maintain good relations with partners and key stakeholders in the community
• Participate to weekly coordination meeting as well as regularly liaise with finance, logistics, administration and security teams
• In consultation with the Food Security Program Manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities
• Manage project staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization, including through regular evaluations, drafting of job descriptions etc.
• Support the development of the technical knowledge of the mobile team and hotline officers
• Maintain open dialogue with all team members, and treat all staff in a respectful way
• Contribute to the security management of his/her team and is responsible for knowing the location of all teams at any point in time, maintaining regular communication with the team when in the field and ensuring that all security rules are known and respected by all in the team when implementing program activities
• The Project Manager is responsible for reporting incidents to security focal points and Coordination.

Background/IRC Summary: Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. It helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. IRC teams provide health care, infrastructure, learning and economic support to people in 40 countries, with special programs designed for women and children. Every year, the IRC resettles thousands of refugees in 22 U.S. cities. At work in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities to restore safety, dignity and hope, the IRC leads the way from harm to home.
The IRC is currently providing support to Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey and Syria. In Jordan, the IRC provides primary and reproductive health care, cash assistance, and social services to refugee families in urban areas. In refugee camps, the IRC provides support for refugee women and girls and helps to reunite children who've crossed the border alone, with their families.
Job Overview/Summary: The health program will contribute to IRC’s larger health strategy in Jordan, responding effectively to the unmet needs of Syrian urban refugees and vulnerable Jordanians in Irbid and Mafraq governorates. This program will form an integral part of IRC’s community health outreach strategy, filling a gap in existing curative, preventive and promotion health care services through a mobile clinic program and a community health volunteer (CHV) network.
Mobile clinics staffed with trained health professionals and enthusiastic CHV will bring health services directly to the urban, sub-urban, and rural areas where they are needed.
For IRC, a community health volunteer (CHV) network and mobile clinics pertain to understanding and addressing the health education, basic health care and referral needs through formal and informal actions taken at the community level to create more effective and efficient linkages between services available within the community and the primary, secondary and tertiary health care options.
An effective team member of community health program whom supervised by the Senior Community Health Officer, the Community Health Monitoring Officer will play active role overseeing day to day activities of more than 50 CHVs and follow up on data collection and compilations through customizable data management service that can be accessed through both the website and a mobile application in close coordination with Deputy Health Manager.

 Undertake administrative arrangements for meetings, workshops and expert missions by coordinating transportation, accommodation, conference room reservations and maintaining contacts with participants on logistical issues as required;
 Work with the SAP Business One software system (training will be provided by ICMPD), and liaise with operations support and finance departments;
 Prepare invitations (in both English and Arabic), administer, prepare and maintain event documentation (list of participants, folders, badges, presentations);
 Prepare vacancy notices and terms of reference for recruitment and specifications for the procurement of services; ensure follow-up in accordance with ICMPD procedures;
 Organise and provide support to the work of experts, administer time sheets;
 Support the management of expert and procurement contracts, by assisting the verification of quality inputs and initiating payments according the agreed payment schedules;
 Maintain a filing system for the project and manage service providers;
 Support translation and ad hoc interpretation as required(Arabic-English);
 Assist the project team with project reporting (collecting inputs, compiling, editing);
 Support the project team in preparing and providing backstopping during missions;
 Handle procurement processes and procedures for conference/seminar services or other procurement related tasks as foreseen in the project;
 Draft routine correspondence to experts, project counterparts and service providers in both English and Arabic;
 Prepare minutes and summaries of actions to be taken;
 Perform any other duties as assigned.
