Role and responsibilities
Under the supervision the project manager and the direct technical supervision of the project officer, the staff member will undertake and support the Education project for youth center, conducting field outreach/community mobilizing sessions for Syrian refugees and camp community, participate in implementing the youth project on daily bases in the youth center, supporting the education process, and monitoring day-to-day implementation and coordination with project officer. Foster better coordination and collaboration within the team members, and facilitating the flow of knowledge and information and liaise with youth office.
Generic responsibilities• Conduct coherent, knowledgeable, and consistent outreach sessions to inform Syrian refugees about NRC Youth and Education programs; and assist in mobilizing the communities around the schools• Serve as a link between NRC programs and the local community. For example, establishing and maintaining parent-teacher associations through participatory methods or establishing youth information boards;• Serve as a focal point between community members and parents of participants, school and youth center staff; • Promote the importance of continuous and respectful dialogue with the refugee community among staff; • Work closely with NRC staff and other relevant actors to conduct outreach activities with the Syrian refugee community; • Submit written field reports after community mobilization sessions, and monitoring reports.• Develop schedules for community outreach activities, based on outreach strategy.• Forming training programs to support school improvements and curricular activities.• Carry out monitoring and evaluation of community outreach sessions to measure impact of activities.• Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality of education classes and activities.• Tracking and monitoring the implementation education process, teacher performance, and curriculum implementation. • Responsible for day to day attendance of teacher, students, and new students registers.• Support regular data collection, conduct analysis of data and prepare reports to management.• Daily observation and documentation of school safety and case management.• Daily inspection and documentation of over all conditions of learning process, teachers and student performance.• Build and maintain positive relationships with all NRC members of staff, and contacts within and outside NRC.• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Standard Function Description
• Is in charge of a WatHab Project(s): plans, organizes and monitors the implementation of the project, as per given objectives • Maintains contacts with interlocutors / authorities at local level mainly independently• Supervises technical staff • Contributes to written reporting• Contributes to the preparation of PfR and budget
Project Implementation• Assess the needs in accordance with WATHAB criteria by collecting all relevant information for the implementation of the project(s).• Monitor and follow up the project construction works, while ensuring that services and supplies acquired conform to the quality and performance requirements of the contract in accordance with the schedule.• After the construction works are completed, evaluate the quality and performance of the contractor against the contract requirements and make recommendations on action(s) to be taken.
Contact and networking• Develop and maintain contact with interlocutors/contractors and report back to the Head of Project.• Upon request of the Head of Project, facilitate contact and networking with the relevant interlocutors (Camp Director, Governors Office and/or Municipalities), conveying messages, in order to ease the works implementation. Report outcome of meetings and if necessary write meeting minutes.• Upon request of the Head of Project, inform interlocutors about general ICRC Wathab activities.
Logistics - Admin• Regarding procurement of goods, specify and provide Log with all of the relevant technical specifications, organise the material deliveries and assure the necessary inspection and follow-up of all material assistance items.• Ensure that all of the necessary paperwork is prepared in coordination with the Logistics department.• Upon request from the Head of Project, help to evaluate offers from local contractors / suppliers for small contracts in coordination with Log.• Ensure payment of small contracts and procurements in the field.
Reporting and statistics• Report to the Head of Project any problems or challenges faced without delay.• Provide the Head of Project with written assessment, evaluation and programme implementation reports.• Provide required information for the biweekly operational reports (WOR).• Provide the Head of Project with written weekly progress reports, including technical and security related information.• Provide statistical information or other reporting requirements when required.• Help to maintain the WPA database in coordination with responsible staff member(s).• Attend weekly Wathab meeting in Amman.

Provision of quality health education regarding chronic disease management to Syrian refugee population and Jordanian population at the primary care level

About your job::
In this role you will execute the stations requirements on all aspects of HR and admin issues in line with the company's procedures. This covers recruitment, training, personnel files, resignation, leave records, job descriptions and administrative functions of the station.
Your key accountabilities will include the co-ordination of all recruitment needs from the preparation of job descriptions, the selection of appropriate grading to the assessment of candidates and the eventual annual performance appraisals for selected candidates and current employees. You will support the company in its aim of moving towards an e-recruitment platform as well as maintaining accurate records on personnel files and co-ordinating Head Office requirements.
Further to this you will initiate welcome packs and inductions for new employees as well as co-ordinating training for the region. Processing and ensuring compliance on official requirements of employees including uniform, leave, rebates, duty travel, business cards and IT is essential as is the preparation of salary statements and letters whilst always ensuring compliance of local legislations and procedures.
About you::
You will be a graduate with relevant Management Development training courses and at least 2-3 years in an airline assisting the management on HR and administrative issues. You must be able to work under pressure to defined tight timescales with an ability to adapt to changing needs and requirements. You will be fluent in both English and Arabic communication skills as well as having previous exposure to HR procedures and guidelines.You must have knowledge of Jordanian Labor law.Having airline experience will be a plus.
You must be computer literate with the ability to use database packages and have the initiative to solve recruitment problems and become a role model for e-recruitment practices.
