Alcon is currently seeking a District Manager based in Amman, Jordan and reporting to the Cluster Manager, Levant in the Middle East. We are looking for a highly motivated and professional team player with minimum 4 years of professional sales and managerial experience preferably from the Pharma industry.

The purpose of this job is to plan, coordinate and supervise the group to reach or exceed the territorial sales and responsible for implementation of company’s strategies, objectives and marketing activities in Jordan.

Major Accountabilities:

BUSINESS RESULTS & COMPANY POLICIES:
• Ensure the use of effective human and material resources aimed at regional needs in order to achieve assigned sales and MS targets of related product groups.
• Implement and monitoring of company’s strategies, objectives and marketing activities in his/her area.
• Work in coordination and effectively with other related departments, analyze and interpret the region-al sales results in order to undertake the actions that develop and maximize the business results.
• Do the necessary reporting and ensure timely completion by MRs according the company's policies and procedures.

SALES FORCE EFFECTIVENESS:
• Create an effective territory structure, evaluate it periodically and update it if necessary.
• Ensure an effective targeting and segmentation, in the region with periodic updates when necessary.
• Increase the effectiveness of MRs through continuous follow-up of number of daily visits per MR and their monthly visit and call plans.
• Control and manage DS expenses in accordance within assigned expense budget
• Visit important customers such as KOLs, pharmacies, warehouses, local authorities of official bodies as required
• Meeting and following up the orders and commercial execution with the distributors.
• Informing the distributors sales team about Alcon‘s priorities, and supporting in the implementation of effective commercial execution.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
• Create an environment that increases the motivation of the MRs working in the region under his/ her responsibility.
• Effective planning & controlling the MRs in accordance to GPS training. Actively use SALSA, follow up, evaluate and make the necessary changes in MR's daily activities.
• Develop pharmaceutical sales force skills & abilities, periodically follow up and evaluate MR's performance by realizing bilateral field visits, effective coaching and feedback.
• Ensure extensive medical and marketing knowledge of MRs of Alcon and competitor products.
• Ensure the positive interaction of MRs with marketing team and all other departments within the company.

Key tasks:

•Maintain sufficient liquidity for current needs through obtaining short term borrowing from relationship banks.

•Follow up on Petra’s cash flow needs and arranges finance/cash requirements for Petra’s operational and capital needs.
•Minimize interest paid on borrowed funds through dealing with the bank with the most favorable rates and monitor repayments.
•Manage all bank charges, monthly repayments, balloon payments and interest payments.
•Invest Petra’s excess cash in money markets as per the investment mandates set by Petra’s management with a focus on minimizing risk, maximizing return, and ensuring liquidity.
•Hold the most profitable and least risky mix of money market instruments for the purpose of serving liquidity and currency needs of Petra.
•Assist in the formation of the financial risk management policy.
•Identify potential liquidity risks and exposures, foreign currency exchange risks, interest rate risks and credit risks.
•Measure financial risks and prioritize each exposure according to set criteria.
•Develop alternative financial risks mitigation strategies.
•Develop infrastructure to monitor financial risks and report on compliance with the policies

Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Job Requirements

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Major Purpose of the Role:-

To carry out day to day accounting work involving compilation, consolidation and posting of financial data, and to contribute to the preparation of the trial balance and financial statements of the BU.

We are currently recruiting a Sales Representative for an E-commerce platform in Jordan.
The website will serve as a platform for users to benefit from special offers in selected locations and other discounted services.

Responsibilities

- Pro-actively source and generate sales by engaging with clients.
- Look for the best offers possible from entertainment/luxury/retail services.
- Be commercially minded with a creative approach.
- Convert prospects to new clients.
- Be highly reliable with the ability to work independently full-time.
- Maintain a relationship with clients to secure repeat business, or long-term bookings.
- Keep and maintain records of sales to assist the accounting department, including managing signed contracts and taking payment where applicable.
